Corners of master frame are mitered and joined by stamped steel plated gussets. Doors are prehung with Z Bars equipped with aluminum hinges featuring double bushed bronze oilite bushings. Z Bar header has a drip cap that extends beyond door casing. "U" shaped adjustable extruded expander 1 3/4" deep and vinyl sweep strip furnished for bottom of door enables it to fit openings of uneven height and also provides insect protection. WEATHERSTRIP: Weatherstrip material is compatible with aluminum and resistant to weathering. All Z Bar members contain weatherstripping to ensure door closes quietly with no metal to metal contact. KICK PANEL: Kick panel at the bottom of the door is 1/2" thick and contains a 3/8" core sandwiched between two pieces of aluminum to give kick plate strength and afford more insulating value to the door.
